Greater Flint Hockey Association



High school teams:

Davison Cardinals: Doug Towler will lead the Cardinals into the upcoming 2008-2009 season. With a great core of returning letterman, and an influx of talented youth, the Cardinals look forward to going into the State Playoffs and bringing home it's first State Championship.

Grand Blanc Bobcats: Coach Mike Shurnot is looking forward to this upcoming season. With all the hard work and practice that the Bobcats put in last year Mike could see the improvement in his Bobcats as the year went on and that gives him confidence that the Bobcats will be in contention for the Big Nine title.

 

    College teams:

            University of Michigan Flint:

In it's first year in the league the Michigan team is looking forward to it's upcoming year. They will be playing many of the top colleges extended teams from around the State and the Midwest. Keep looking out for more information and a season schedule.

 

   Youth Hockey:

The new Greater Flint Hockey Association Ice Raiders will be taking to the ice at both Perani's and Iceland arena's. We will be focusing our attention on the youth of youth hockey those little players from 2-10 years old they will be given the most intense levels of training, from learn to skate, to learn to play and into the youth hockey competitive team levels. All player will be given clinic throughout the year from power skating, learn to check, stick handling, and even the most un-coached position in hockey today the goaltenders will be given clinics especially designed just for them. Our coaches will be TEACHERS first and COACHES second, you must teach the game before you can coach it. We are now accepting coaching applications for the upcoming season please stop by both Perani's and Iceland Arena's for further details.
